The legacy began in 1997 in Angamaly, Kerala, with the establishment of P.A. Kuriakose Jewellers by the late P.A. Kuriakose. Under his leadership, the brand swiftly became a trendsetter for gold and diamonds in the region, earning the immediate confidence of the local community.

A New Chapter in Trivandrum: Abhishekam Jewellery

A pivotal moment in the brand’s history occurred when P.A. Kuriakose’s son, Mr. Benny Kuriakose, took the reins and embarked on an ambitious expansion. He moved to Balaramapuram in the Trivandrum district, where he renamed the brand to Abhishekam Jewellery.
This move was transformative. Abhishekam Jewellery quickly became an iconic jewellery destination in the city, cherished and trusted by the people of Trivandrum. Driven by his central vision for the growth of Abhishekam, Mr. Benny Kuriakose strengthened the brand’s presence.
2012 The second branch was opened in Balaramapuram, Trivandrum district, marking the first phase of significant expansion.

Crossing State Lines: Expansion into Tamil Nadu

Mr. Benny Kuriakose’s tireless efforts led to the brand’s first expansion beyond Kerala. In 2021, Abhishekam opened its first branch in Tamil Nadu, choosing Marthandam in the Kanyakumari district. This new location was warmly received, quickly endearing itself to the local community and becoming a well-known and trusted jewellery store in the town.

The Unification and Rebranding

In 2023, Mr. Benny Kuriakose unified the brand identity across all locations, officially renaming the original P.A. Kuriakose legacy to Abhishekam Gold & Diamonds. This change consolidated the entire enterprise under one powerful and recognized name.
